How to quickly train new recruits?

 1. Plan for new arrivals

It takes time to plan a comprehensive onboarding program for new hires. After a quick tour and introductions to key players, they're off. It's a bad strategy because it confuses people. This is exacerbated by the lack of a new workplace or coworkers outside of their team.
Early onboarding should be planned for the first few weeks. Assist them in learning everything they need to know. Working at a new company can be confusing at first. Allow them time to breathe and adjust to their new work routine.

2. Be clear about roles and responsibilities

People will not quickly adapt to a new role if they are unsure of their responsibilities, who can assist them, and how success will be measured. These initial days are ideal for the manager to clarify their role and what  expect them to achieve, as well as set some specific goals for their first few weeks and months.

3. Give them the tools to do the job

On their first day of work, many new employees are surprised not to have a computer or an email address. The work increasingly involves multiple digital platforms, so it's critical they have access to the tools they need. Make sure all the basics are sorted out ahead of time, so people feel expected.
HR should also make sure new hires understand company rules and policies, how to report sickness or book vacation, and how to access pay and benefits information. If  have an HR system, they can quickly get up to speed by logging into a central portal that houses this information.

4. Help build strong internal network

Internal networking makes people happier at work. Send an email to the entire staff inviting others to come say hello. It's common for companies to pair new hires with a buddy to help them through their first few weeks but avoid assigning them to a disengaged employee who will stifle their enthusiasm with.

5. Provide training

Younger workers (18-24) are most concerned about missing out on training and development. It's critical to deliver on promised skills training so employees are ready for work.
Notably, many employees consider training and development when deciding whether or not to stay with a company. Inform them of any internal training programs and be willing to discuss alternatives like job shadowing or stretch projects.
Training facilitates the updating of skills and lead to increase commitment, well – being, and sense of belonging, thus directly strengthening the organization's competitiveness (Acton and Golden, 2002)

Conclusion
Many organizations are hiring less now, but when a key employee leaves and a position opens up, it's a race to find the right person and get them settled. People are often described as a company's most valuable asset. Faster hiring and onboarding of high performers is critical to a company's success and winning the talent game.
